Sarah Miracle is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Saint Thomas in Minnesota. She received a Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology where she was advised by Dana Randall. Her research interests are in randomized algorithms, sampling, and Markov chains. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, mountain biking, and skate skiing.

Amanda Pascoe Streib is an applied mathematician working at the Center for Computing Sciences. She received a Ph.D. in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization from the Georgia Institute of Technology and spent a year at the National Institute of Standards and Technology as a National Research Council postdoctoral fellow. She credits her Ph.D. advisor, Dana Randall, for teaching her how to craft an excellent talk and to distill complex mathematics into high-level ideas. Amanda's research interests are in the design and analysis of discrete algorithms, with an eye toward real-world applications. Outside of work, Amanda keeps busy and active with her two children.

Noah Streib is a researcher at the Center for Computing Sciences in Bowie, MD. After growing up in Ohio and attending Oberlin College, he received a Ph.D. in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012 under the advisement of Tom Trotter. His research interests lie mainly in discrete mathematics and computer science. In his free time, Noah enjoys soccer, ultimate Frisbee, and playing with his kids.
